A multi-generational family business
Independent Coach has been around since 1941. What began with one generation has continued through the next, and today our family remains closely involved in the company and the communities we serve. We are proud of the people who have built Independent Coach alongside us — drivers, monitors, mechanics, dispatchers, office staff, and many others across our Inwood and Hewlett locations. Together, they are a major part of what makes Independent Coach who we are.

Drivers & Monitors
Our drivers and monitors are the people students and families see every day. They provide safe, dependable transportation and additional support where needed.
Operations & Administration
Dispatch, routing and office staff across our Inwood and Hewlett locations coordinate daily transportation, support drivers and respond to the needs of school districts and families.
Safety & Training
Our in-house safety and training team supports driver qualification, ongoing training, and compliance, helping maintain consistent standards across the operation.How we train and monitor drivers
Fleet & maintenance
ICC mechanics maintain our vehicles at our own facilities, with in-house maintenance, body shop, and transmission capabilities supporting the fleet every day.
Ours is a multi-generational family business and it is with enormous pride that we continue to serve the communities that mean so much to us. We couldn’t do without our amazing and dedicated team.
